Matthew’s football career commenced as an 8yo at Dingley where he progressed through the juniors, then went on to play 250+ games for the club – including being a member of the first Dingley senior premiership team in 1994. During those years Matthew co-coached the Dingley U16 & U17 Boys for 2 seasons, developing many of those players who went on to be a part of the senior club.
After assisting at SBMT Auskick for the last 2 seasons, Matthew enjoyed being back involved with football. With some enquiry from parents (and as an old St Bedes College boy himself), it was an easy decision for Matthew to take on the U8 Coach role, where he hopes to use his extensive football experience to help teach young footballers in their first season.
