Bennett Martin Rising Star
The VAFA congratulates Bennett Martin from St Bedes/Mentone Tigers, who has been nominated as the Round 2 VAFA Men’s Rising Star. The 19 year old has impressed in the opening two rounds of the season in Premier C Men’s, averaging 31.5 disposals, 10.5 contested possessions, 9.5 intercept possessions and 143 Premier Data ranking points.

Matt Lehpamer Club Captain
We are hugely excited to announce Matthew Lehpamer as our Senior Men's Captain for 2026. A senior captain at just 23 years of age is an indication of how much respect Lep has from the playing group and coaches at SBMT. Since joining the senior group he has barely put a foot wrong, setting new standards both on and off the field.

Thursday Night Footy!
Every Thursday night the club rooms are open from 5pm until 9pm.   Come along and enjoy the company of supporters and players. Thursday night AFL footy on the big screens, $6.50 schooners.  Dinner available too.  It’s an ideal time to catch up with friends.

Bill made a significant contribution to our Club and was a much respected member of the wider Mentone community. Bill celebrated his 100th birthday in 2025.
