Every Thursday night supporters drop into the club for a feed and a couple of refreshments. If any of the junior dads would like to call in they would be made most welcome. Senior sides are read out at 9 pm so it is not a late night boys! Any time after 7.30 is perfect. Last week we had a chap all the way from the UK. He’s settled in Mentone ahead of his family and was seeking out any Aussie Rules club for his young boys. Seems they have watched the game on telli over there and are keen to play. So much for the World Game. Away with the soccer balls, let’s get back to a game where you have to run, catch, kick, tackle and not fall over and fake a free kick! Ah it was good though whilst we were still in it!
