The 2007 season is underway and the excellent crowd numbers at Mentone witnessed the Tigers triple header against Caulfield Grammarians. The Senior team started the B Section adventure with a terrific team effort to win whilst the Reserves went down by 7 points in a high standard game. The U/19 Div. 2 team had a convincing win in the early starting fixture by some 20 goals and our ‘new’ U/19 South team missed out by a mere 8 points in registering a win first up in their away game vs Monash Blues. This week the Seniors travel to Righetti Oval to tackle St.Kevins whilst there is a double header our two U19 teams at Mentone Reserve starting at 11.30am.
