The Club enjoyed a successful weekend at senior level with all teams enjoying big wins.
On Saturday we celebrated with the 1967/68 premiership reunion by demolishing Melbourne High School by 150 points. Paul Groves ignited the tigers in the first half with three goals from the wing and whilst they were inaccurate the home side were in complete control by half time. The second half was all the home side as Sam Anstey, Sam Hecker and Ben Phibbs starred for the tigers. Phibbs finished the game with 8 goals including 5 in the third quarter. Returning from Sandringham Peter McGettigan, Michael Curcio and Sam Monahan added strength to the tigers side following the loss to St Kevins last week. Next week the tigers travel to take on undefeated Old Essendon in what promises to be a quality game of B section VAFA footy.
