Terrific 4 quarter performance by SBMT saw them record their best win for the year with a more than convincing 9 goal victory over old school rivals St Bernards.

For the first time this year the side won every quarter and finished on the positive side of the ledger between goals and points.

The side had winners all over the ground none better than inspirational leader Simon Richards whose attack on the footy and fierce tackling won him many possessions. Jaryd Robinson held sway down back, Luke Wintle controlled the ruck, and Luke Terrell with 4 goals was an ever present danger up forward.

The club was also buoyed by the return of Hiwab Shaikaib in his first Senior game since the Second Semi Final of 2011, and he did a great job in curbing St Bernards monster 6ft 7in Full Forward.

Cheers
