This Sunday 21st we take on Collegians on what promises to be a terrific game of amateur footy in the โAโ Section Grand Final at Sportscover Arena in Elsternwick. The sudden rise of our club through the ranks in recent times is a reward not only for our current day players, coaches, support staff and members but equally for those who have devoted endless hours over many years in the pursuit of a shot at an โAโ section premiership. If we are successful this Sunday we will create VAFA history as the first club to win the C โ B & A section flags in consecutive seasons. Whichever way the result goes we will endeavor to display our renowned tenacious brand of footy that our fans have become accustomed to. Whichever way the result goes we will respect our opposition at the games end. Collegians have been a terrific side this season and will be keen to reverse the result of the 2nd Semi Final. To their committee and members lead by Wayne Dyer we wish them all the best for the weekend.
To our loyal band of supporters we would love to see you at Elsternwick for the kick off at 2.15 pm on Sunday. Make sure you wear your Tigers club colours and barrack loyally. The clubrooms will be open on Sunday evening and hopefully we will celebrate from a premiership cup.
On behalf of the committee I would like to thank everyone for their support throughout the season and hope the rewards for your commitment are delivered this Sunday.
Go Tigers
