Club President Matthew Beasley announced at the AGM that the club was to receive a $15,000 community grant from the Bendigo Bank. The grant will assist in funding a kitchen which the club desperately needs both for itself and for the the Bayside Disability Group who also utilise the Soppet Pavilion each week. The club would like to extend its sincere appreciation to Lesley McGurgan and to the local board of the Bendigo.
