CALLING ALL TIGER SUPPORTERS’
The U16s are the only team left in the MSJFL finals after the U14s bowed out in their Preliminary Final on Sunday. After a even 1st quarter against St.Peters the boys went in at half time 4 goals down but showed great courage in the 3rd quarter to be only down by 2 goals going into the last term. After early chances in the last quarter which the boys couldn’t convert St Peters kicked clear to win by 5 goals. The boys shouldn’t be to downhearted after such a great season under new coach Steve D’Andrea and I’m sure they’ll bounce back next season. Now that leaves us with the U16s in the Grand Final v Ormond next Sunday at 2.00pm at Centenary Park Brady Rd East Bentleigh. Lets get as many supporters as possible down to cheer the boys on under coach Billy Biggs. The teams playing great footy after defeating Ormond in the qualifying final and then top side Dingley in the 2nd semi. So come on Tigers fans get down to the ground and barrack loudly for the St Bedes/Mentone U16s this Sunday and then back to clubrooms to celebrate a Tiger flag.
