As per the rules of the club: Rule 33. Notice of General Meetings, I hereby give notice to members that the Annual General Meeting will be held in the clubrooms on Wednesday 30 November, commencing at 7.00pm. The purpose of the AGM is to confirm the minutes of the previous annual general meeting, to receive and consider the annual report and financial statements of the club and hold elections for the positions of: The Club President; The Club Secretary; The Finance Director; The President, VAFA; The President, SMJFL; and The House Director. Nominations for these positions can be emailed to: A copy of the rules will be emailed upon request. I also call out to members to consider taking on a role, big or small or for a specific event to ensure the club in 2017 assists our players and continues to grow. The new Board’s first action will be to seek members who have marketing expertise to join a strategic sub-committee to maintain and grow our sponsorship base which is vitally important. We will also be looking for committee members for the VAFA, SMJFL and House committees plus parents who can assist with the growth of girls and women’s footy. If you can become involved, fantastic, if you are time poor, have a chat to our people and put your hand up for a specific job and let’s keep our club strong.
