As many will know, the Club has been delighted by the recent appointment of Mick Dwyer as Senior Coach for season 2012 and beyond. Mick brings with him a wealth of knowledge from his AFL/VFL, VFA and VAFA experiences. Mick will be ably supported by former St Kilda and Melbourne defender Jamie Shanahan who also has VAFA coaching experience and Greg Siwes who has built solid coaching reputation in suburban and VAFA representative football. The Club is providing an opportunity for everybody to “Meet the Coaches” and all current and prospective VAFA players are urged to attend. Mick will be outlining the plans for pre-season, practice matches and other preparations for season 2012. This will be followed by a BBQ and a few drinks and all members, supporters and sponsors are encouraged to get along and show the new coaches our renowned Tiger hospitality.
