St Bedes Mentone Tigers started their 2015 Campaign with 2/3 sides scoring victories over strong opponents Somerville Eagles. The Seniors sporting some new recruits and a different and positive game plan played some very fast and aggressive football to come away with a comfortable 4 goal victory. The Reserves playing with the bare minimum due to unavailabilities were most impressive in a very determined performance that saw them over the line by to the tune of 3 majors. While the young Under 19’s battled manfully against bigger and stronger opponents to fall short by about 5 goals. We now look forward to next week’s hit out at Brindisi Street against long time Practise Match rivals Sale. Feel free to come along and support the boys…..
