The undefeated senior and reserves sides maintained their form with hard fought wins against second placed Ajax yesterday. The game was played at Elsternwick Park before a large crowd. The seniors game was a tough contest with a committed Ajax hitting the front in time on only to see the boys strike back and seal a seven point win. Under 16’s beat the top side as well. Congratulations to the U9 North on their first win of the season. Fantastic to call into the club last Sunday night to see the happy faces. Most important win of course was the U9 North. They were rapt as were their parents. Seniors had a Sunday game and they too came away with a close, hard fought win as did the Reserves. 17’s won, 16’s beat the top side and the 15’s remain undefeated as well. 19’s also won on the Saturday. 14’s put a courageous display whilst the 13’s juggernaut continues to run. 12’s and 11’s won too. If you haven’t been down on a Sunday night you may be surprised at how friendly it can be and it’s not late. 5.45 to arrive. It also makes for an easy night off cooking! Congratulations also to Chris Mouritz on his senior debut. Chris is an Under 19 player who with his first kick in senior football…..what else….…a goal. Well done.
