It was a great day on Sunday, the weather was perfect, we played at home which is always a bonus and the boys had a terrific win. 4 Goals were scores, two each to Jordan Y and Jimmy. Thanks must go to Andy ( Daniels dad) for the excellent tips given at training, focusing on tackling ( Rugby League style – the true game – oh sorry , as they say, you can take the girl out of New South Wales but you can’t take the Rugby League out of the girl – or something like that anyway). I cannot thank enough the parents who helped cook and serve the Bar b q on Sunday night, it was a terrific effort and a great example to our boys of how important it is to pitch in and help. Lyn Nixon
