The 2018 Annual General Meeting for St Bedes/Mentone Tigers Amateur Football Club will be held on 21 January, 2018.

Annual General Meeting Notice Invitation to members to attend & be involved

As per the rules of the club: Rule 33. Notice of General Meetings, I hereby give notice to members that the Annual General Meeting will be held in the clubrooms Cnr Venice and Remo Streets Mentone on Monday 21 January 2019, commencing at 7.30pm.

A copy of the rules will be emailed upon request.

The purpose of the AGM is for Members to:

• Confirm the minutes of the previous annual general meeting,
• To receive and consider the annual report and financial statements of the club
• Determine matters notified by the Board and/or Members, and
• Hold elections for the positions of the Board and Committees as per below:

On behalf of the Board I call out to members to consider taking on a role, big or small to ensure the club can support our players and continues to grow in 2019 and beyond.

If you are time poor you can still be involved. Please have a chat to our people and put your hand up for a specific job and let’s keep our club growing.

I also give notice under Rule 33. (2) (c) to advise that the following special resolution has been proposed by the Board:

• That the club award Life Memberships to Tom Brain and Chris Dee in respect to Rule 90 (3) (a) & (b) for their significant contribution to the club;
• and in respect to Rule 90 (1) (b), toJames Tyquin in recognition of his outstanding playing contribution to the club or over 200 Senior and Reserve Grade games.
