Over the weekend, we lost a very special person and member of our club, Jane Barnes. Many of you would be aware of Jane’s courageous battle over the last 2 years with leukemia and the special place her and her family hold in our hearts.
Jane’s strength and positivity was inspiring. Her tireless efforts in raising money and awareness for Maddie Riewoldt’s Vision and The Australian Red Cross is admirable.
The SBMT community extends is deepest condolences to her family especially Russell, Jude, Michael and John and her fiance James.
Jane made broken look beautiful and strong look invincible. She walked with the universe on her shoulders and made it look like a pair of wings.
