ANZAC Day 2020 will be marked differently than any other year in Victorian history.

Dawn services, marches and other ANZAC Day events across Victoria will not go ahead.

We are asking all Victorians to mark ANZAC Day at home to protect our community, including veterans, many of whom are vulnerable.

Our state commemorative Dawn ServiceΒ will be closed to service communities and the publicΒ  but will be televised and streamed from Melbourne’s Shrine of Remembrance tomorrow from 5.30am.

The service will comply with all physical distancing restrictions.

To commemorate ANZAC Day from home this year you may consider
?️ light a candle at dawn
?listen to or watch the broadcasts of the national and Victorian service
?Β observe a minute of silence in remembrance or hold a virtual remembrance with family and friends
