Federal funding grants under the Stronger Communities Program of $20,000 supported by Isaacs MP Mark Dreyfus for the Mentone Recreation Reserve and $16,000 supported by Hotham MP Clare O’Neil for the Southern Road Reserve has been approved and will shortly be in the club accounts.
The total cost of both projects is around $124,000 and we are currently $8,000 short with the deadline looming for lodgment of building permits so construction can be completed for the commencement of the 2017 footy season. Your small donation will go a long way to completing these projects.
