In accordance with Club Rule 31 (2), a Special General Meeting has been called by the Board for Monday 6 March, 7pm – Corboy Pavilion 11 Venice Street Mentone
The purpose of the meeting is to include the following paragraph in Rule 84. CLUB COLOURS and seeks Members to approve.
The Board is authorised to update the playing uniform from time to time to comply with our affiliated association and league rules in respect to ‘deemed playing jumper clashes’ and for ‘special fundraising events’. The playing jumpers should always include a sash across the front and back.
This is a procedural change. The reasoning is simply to comply with association and league rules on jumper clashes and for any matches with a special fundraising purpose.
If approved the full Rule will read:
84. CLUB COLOURS
The Club colours shall be red, gold and royal blue on navy blue. The Club playing uniform shall be a navy jumper with a red, gold and royal blue sash across the front and back with a white number on the back. For the purposes of colour matching, midnight blue or similar dark blue colour can be used to ensure that fading with time will maintain the navy blue colour.
