St Bedes/Mentone Tigers provides a family club environment promoting females in football through fun! You too can play alongside your sister at our local community based club in Mentone! We grew from one U15 female team in 2015 to two teams (U15 & U18) in 2016. In 2017 are planning on having teams in the following age groups: U10, U12, U14, U16, U18 in the SMJFL and a senior women’s team in the VAFA. We are also looking to grow participation at Auskick (U5’s through to U9’s) and run a girl’s specific program.
In our first season of VAFA we have appointed John Marshall as our senior coach. John comes with wealth of knowledge and experience having coached Fitzroy-ACU Women’s Football Team and North Ballarat – both clubs playing in finals under John’s coaching.
