St Bedes/Mentone Tigers Amateur Football Club is pleased to announce a strategic working relationship with SportsGrad as its provider of graduate talent for season 2021.

“To be able to create a pathway for aspiring sports graduates to get more involved in grass roots community sport is a win/win opportunity for all stakeholders” said Director of Football (Juniors), Joe Galati.  “Community sporting clubs provide graduates with an accessible learning environment to hone their experience, develop deep insights and skills in their chosen discipline.  Whether it be data analytics, event management, media or sports administration, I see community sport as an untapped pathway for sports graduates to explore and we are delighted to partner with SportsGrad to pilot this programme.” said Galati.

Founder of SportsGrad and former Cricket Australia employee, Reuben Williams, said “pathways into sport are not always clear, and that’s what we aim to solve. SportsGrad exists to help people launch their careers in the sports industry.  We do this by providing insights from people working in the industry, connecting people with jobs, and teaching skills for job hunting success specific to sport.”

“The decision to partner with St Bedes/Mentone Tigers AFC illustrates our shared vision to create pathways to develop people in sport” said Williams.  “We look forward to supporting Joe Galati and the SBMT Board, as they embark on their strategic plan to develop the clubs most valuable asset…. its people”.
