It is with much sadness that we report the passing of Marj Pritchard. Marj was a volunteer and past committee member at SBMT over many years, even though she had no initial connectionΒ or children at the club. Marj started her volunteering when she moved to the Mentone area from the country as a way to connect to the local community, and connect with us she did! Marj consistentlyΒ put herself forward to help the footy club in any way needed.Β Nothing was too much trouble for Marj. She was also a volunteer for the Mentone RSL.
Marj loved her time at the Tigers and her daughter advised us that her SBMT Life Membership badge was at always at her bedside.Marj passed away peacefully on Melbourne Cup weekend, aged 91.
