Saturdays victory over 4th placed MHSOB has give the seniors the chance to reclaim its position in B Section for 2006. With two games remaining outstanding performances will be required to knock off Whitefriars and Old Essendon. Reserves knocked off MHSOB to remain in the fight for the four.
The U19’s (one round left) are fourth and face 5th placed MHSOB in a battle for fourth spot. This game will be played this Friday night at Elsternwick Park under lights. Game starts at 6pm. It would be pleasing to see as many supporters there as possible.
The U17’s meet St Peters this Sunday in the Second Semi Final. Coached by Peter Curcio and Greg L’Huillier the boys have played some terrific football this year. They team well and as long as they do not waste possession of the ball will do well. The U16’s play in the elimination final. Under the leadership of Mark Tyquin hopefully they will bring home the bacon!
The U13’s were knocked out of the competition in an upset loss in the first semi. We have not received results or best players so they must still be recovering from the shock. Still a fantastic season in the toughest (East) competition.
The U12’s under Shane Rayners coaching won their first semi final with a resounding win. The boys are playing well and will give the opposition a real run for their money in the Prelim.
