Dear parents and players,
I hope you, your family and friends all well.
After a challenging year for so many, I am pleased to report that our club has been working hard behind the scenes, to ensure that our Tigers football community can soon reconnect via the game we all love.
We have much to look forward to in season 2021, inspiring new facilities and a range of progressive initiatives that our committees are currently delivering on to enhance both parent & player engagement.
As part of this planning phase, we are pleased to announce the appointment of Lou Colella, as our head coach of the under 17 boys team next season.
Lou will be heading up the Under 17 Boys coaching panel and working closely with our own Jake Goodchild and his existing panel of line coaches.
Jake is currently working hard pursuing his chosen career path and we wish him well with these endeavours and thank him for his continued energy, leadership and commitment to this group of young men.
By way of brief background, Lou has worked closely with Matthew Lloyd at Haileybury, is a Development Coach at the Saints Next Generation Academey and has been head interleague coach for the SMJFL over many years.
Over the coming week, Lou will start making contact with the playing group to introduce himself and get plans for a COVID Safe pre-season training programme underway. I trust that you will give Lou a warm Tigers welcome.
