In a stunning result the U17’s defeated hot favourites St Peters to take the 2005 Premiership by 17 points. The win reverses the 96 point Second Semi Final result loss which saw several Tigers missing. The game was played in perfect conditions and with the return of Mouritz, Graham and Grasby to the side St Peters found a more formidable opponent. The difference was only 4 points at the final break, but the Tigers unleashed a withering burst late in the quarter to seal the game 8.7.55 to 5.8.30. The Tigers kicked 6.3 to 1.3 after the half time break to absolutely close out St Peters. We wonder what they will do with their T-Shirts? In another great performance the Reserves won their First Semi Final clash with MHSOB at Sandringham on Saturday. The boys thumped their opposition to set up an insurmountable half time lead that was never going to be headed. Their campaign continues next weekend against De La Salle.
